Official School Opening Ceremony 17.09.2018 9:30 am

The official opening ceremony of the new 2018-2019 academic year at Zlatarski International School will be held on September 17th at 9:30 am. Traditionally, we expect the students to be dressed formally (dark trousers/skirts, white shirts, dark shoes). After the ceremony, we will hold registration classes where teachers and students will go over all administrative duties concerning the beginning of the school year. Students will receive their textbooks. The school day will end at around 2:00pm.

12 IB class will begin on September 10th (Monday) at 9:00am with individual consultations for the internal and external examinations with their supervisors under preliminary scheduled timetable.

For 11th IB class, the school year will start with the IB Retreat on September 12th (Wednesday) at 9.00 am. The IB Regulations and Zlatarski International School requirements for IB students will be clarified on September 12th and 13th, as the teachers will present a summary of the disciplines they are going to teach, as well as the differences of the levels (SL, HL) and the assessment criteria. The students will be given a short description of the academic material of each of the subjects, as well as an internal calendar with the deadlines for handing in all major projects and essays. Attendance is compulsory.

The International English Intensive course at Zlatarski School for newly admitted 8th grade students will take place between 10th and 14th September between 9:00am and 2:00pm.
