Maturi 2023: Top results for Zlatarski International School
52% of the students from the Class of 2023 of Zlatarski International School are graduating with excellent national diplomas with marks over 5.50 (out of 6.00). The average results in 2023 from the national diploma for our students is 5.42 (out of 6.00).

Graduates of Zlatarski International School, following the Bulgarian national programme, in the top 10 for 2023 are: Dimitar Kostov (6.00), Nina Chakinska (6.00), Nora Yosifova (6.00), Kaloyan Marinkov (6.00), Desislava Kotseva (5.93), Emma Yatchkova (5.92), Kaloyana Petkova(5.90), Monika Ivanova (5.90), Iva Gradinarova (5.90), Perla Dimitrova (5.87).
In 2023, 37% of the students at Zlatarski International School achieved excellent scores of over 5,50 in the English language matura and 68% achieved a very good mark of 5.00 and over. In the Bulgarian language and literature matura 5% of the students achieved scores of over 5,50 and 21% got a result of 5.00 and over. Many of our students do not have Bulgarian as their first language, but having lived in Bulgaria and following the Bulgarian national programme, they attempt the Bulgarian matura and we are proud of their achievements.

Perfect Scores
In 2023 four of our graduates achieved perfect scores of 6.00 (out of 6.00) in their school diplomas. These are: Dimitar Kostov (6.00), Nina Chakinska (6.00), Nora Yosifova (6.00), Kaloyan Marinkov (6.00). With these results Zlatarski School ranks among the leading schools in the country for a consecutive year.

Top 10 results in the Bulgarian language and literature matura
In the top 10 for 2023 in Bulgarian language and literature matriculation exam are: Dimitar Kostov (5.61), Nora Yosifova (5.52), Kaloyana Petkova (5.40), Perla Dimitrova (5.38), Nina Chakinska (5.36), Desislava Kotseva (5.22), Iva Gradinarova (5.22), Kaloyan Marinkov (5.06).

Top Student Success:

Nina Chakinska achieved an excellent national diploma with 6.00 out of 6.00 at Zlatarski International School. She received a bilingual IB Diploma with 38 points with 7,7,6 at HL. She achieved 5.77 in her English matura and 5.36 in her Bulgarian matura exams. She was admitted to the American University in Bologna in Italy to study International Relations and Diplomacy.

Nora Yosifova achieved excellent Bulgarian diploma with 6.00 out of 6.00. She achieved a 6 in her HL IB English certificate and she achieved a Bulgarian Matura with 5,52 and an English Matura with 5,59. She was admitted to Sofia University, Bulgaria to study Medicine.

Dimitar Kostov achieved an excellent national diploma with 6.00 out of 6.00 at Zlatarski International School. He received one of the highest IB Diplomas at the School with 42 IB points and the outstanding perfect scores 7,7,7 at HL. He also achieved a Bulgarian matura with 5.61 and an English matura with 5.63. He continued his education in Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, Netherlands.
