Official Opening of the 2016-2017 school year at Zlatarski International School

The official opening ceremony of the new 2016-2017 academic year at Zlatarski International School will be held on September 15th, 2016 at 10:00 am. Traditionally, we expect the students to be dressed formally (dark trousers/skirts, white shirts, dark shoes).

The academic year for the IB students (11th and 12th grade) starts on September 8th 2016, at 8:45 am for 12th grade and 9:30 am for 11th grade.

For 11th grade, the school year will start with the IB Retreat. The IB Regulations and Zlatarski School requirements for IB students will be clarified on September 7th and September 8th, as the teachers will present a summary of the disciplines they are going to teach, as well as the differences of the levels (SL, HL) and the assessment criteria. The students will be given a short description of the academic material of each of the subjects, as well as an internal calendar with the deadlines for handing in all major projects and essays.

The academic year for 12 IB grade will begin on September 8th at 8:45am with regular classes. The schedules and the timetables will be given on the same day.
