Zlatarski Days at Zlatarski International School

Exactly 150 years ago, on November 14 1866, the symbolic patron of Zlatarski International School, Professor Vassil N. Zlatarski, was born. Professor Zlatarski was a pioneer of truly academic historical research in Bulgaria, laying the solid foundations of Bulgarian medieval and early modern historiography. In show of respect for his work and contribution students and teachers of Zlatarski School will engage in a series of events bringing light on their own academic achievements. The focus is on the social sciences and, most specially, on the study of history. Over the next few days we will regularly post information on what is happening in the classrooms and how the great Bulgarian scholar is commemorated.
