The advisors in the UCAS Center of Zlatarski International School traditionally prepared and sent candidatures of our seniors way before the deadline – January 15th. As a result of the dynamic, quick and highly qualified work, class of 2016 may now brag with conditional admission in top UK universities, such as University College London, School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), King’s College, University of Brighton, University of Leeds, University of Bath, University of Warwick, City University London, Queen Mary University of London and University of Southampton.
We proudly note that Kalina Tsolova received an offer for admission in UCL (University College London), major pharmacology, where she was chosen for one of the 31 available spots. The International Baccalaureate successfully and directly prepares the students for majors like medicine, pharmacy, architecture, engineering and the experience obtained confirmed the meaning of the educational system in Zlatarski International School namely with the successful realization of our graduates. In order to become an UCL student – one of the hardest to be admitted in universities, Kalina will have to defend her IB Diploma with 36 points and cumulatively 17 points in Chemistry, Biology and Higher Level English.
This year the major wanted maintains the level of the previous undergraduate campaigns, and the most notable are Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Civil and Structural Engineering, Computer Science (Software Engineering), Accounting and Finance, Arabic and International Relations, Investment and Financial Risk Management. Our students demonstrate and focus at social and creative majors as Media, Communication and Sociology, Digital Media and Communications, International Hospitality Management, Psychology, International Event Management.
