Zlatarski International School students win a Bulgarian Youth Red Cross competition!

Jaqueline, Yana, Volena and Nefeli from 9c grade at Zlatarski International School won in the competition for Student First Aid Help after a very challenging competition with students from other Sofia schools. During the event they managed to demonstrate not only practical skills in giving first aid, but also theoretical skills.

In the sections ‘Theory’, Practical first aid and ‘Red Cross’ our students achieved successfully two to four tasks (or two to four people in need) within the time limit of 10 minutes. Student teams in grade 9 also had the task of treating patients with complex symptoms, for example, skull fracture, broken ribs or sun stroke. 

The second round of the competition will take place at Regional level on 29 May. Good luck!
