Today leading British universities visited us at Z Today leading British universities visited us at Zlatarski International School in Sofia. We learned about Cardiff University, University of Sussex, Royal Holloway University, University of Bristol, Aston University, University of Plymouth, University of Essex, City St George’s University and Newcastle University. Our students, teachers and parents learned more about university programmes, gaining valuable insight into application procedures, choosing degree subjects and strategies for successful admission. We believe this direct contact was extremely helpful as students and parents had the opportunity to talk directly with university representatives and ask their questions. Studying the world class Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma programmes and gaining top results in Bulgaria, many of the students of Zlatarski International School choose to continue their education at these prestigious universities. It was exciting to celebrate World book day at Zla It was exciting to celebrate World book day at Zlatarski International School of Sofia! 📕 📚 📖 Students brought their favourite books and created posters with interesting facts about them. There was a lively exchange of book recommendations, and many students participated, showing their enthusiasm for reading. The almosphere was joyful as everyone shared their love for literature. Teachers also encouraged discussions and guided the students throughout the event. Everything went smoothly. It was a fun and engaging day, leaving everyone excited to read more and share their favourite books! Thanks to the organizing team: Divna D, Kaloyan V, Aida M, Raya Y, Sofia G and Kamen S (10th grade students). Congratulations to the Zlatarski International Sch Congratulations to the Zlatarski International School Debate Team who achieved an extraordinary milestone, as Victoria Ilieva, Ekaterina Ivanova, and Lyubov Angelova won first place in debate for all of Western Bulgaria, earning the gold medal in the Novice Debate Tournament for Best Foundation. Their achievement sets a new standard of excellence for our debate program. Furthermore, our success extended beyond the gold medal. Our other two teams from Zlatarski International School also excelled, securing qualification for the National Debate Tournament of Bulgaria: Angelina Elenova, Elena Bliznakova, and Yoan Yonchev; Wilhelmina Schouten, Deyan Grigorov, and Mihaela Balabanova. As a team, Zlatarski International School was also honored with the Best Small Team Award, recognizing the collective strength and exceptional performance of our debaters. This remarkable success is a testament to the dedication, intellect, and hard work of our students.
