Applying to universities in the US: Information session for students in grades 10 and 11 at Zlatarski International School
On March 14 at Zlatarski International School of Sofia we held an information meeting for students in grades 10 and 11, where Mrs Teneva, a representative of the Commission for Educational Exchange Fulbright, explained to the students the process of applying to US universities. One of the most important points in her presentation was that the process starts at the beginning of the 11th grade.
Many of the students of Zlatarski International School traditionally continue their higher education in the UK universities such as Oxford, LSE, King’s, Warwick, St Andrews, UCL and others.
There is a growing interest in university education in the United States, especially since our students were accepted to study at prestigious American universities such as Princeton University and the California Institute of Technology.
US universities often occupy the highest positions in international rankings of higher education and we strive to provide the best opportunities and the best help for our students to achieve their goals.
This information session is part of Zlatarski International School in preparation for applying to universities, which is available to all students at school and includes presentations and visits from representatives of some of the most prestigious universities in the world.
