Summer Internship Program at the Sofia Agency for Privatization and Investments

Representatives of the Sofia Agency for Privatization and Investments (SOAPI) visited Zlatarski International School and presented a summer internship program to the 11th grade students, as part of the project for production practices and internships with schools in the Sofia Municipality. Mr. Kardashev, Financial Director of Zlatarski School, on whose initiative this event took place, proudly noted that we are one of the four schools in Sofia, selected to offer students to apply for this internship. Each motivated and socially engaged student will be able to send their motivation letter, on the basis of which they will eventually be approved to intern.

Mr. Lyudmil Ivanov, Doctor of Economics, briefly presented the activities in which our students would participate during the internship. Depending on the interests of the students, they will be engaged in IT activities to improve the work of the agency’s website, to create sample databases for various industries in the city of Sofia, to support the agency’s activities in connection with organizing monthly events or preparing a 2025 guide for domestic and foreign investors, for example. Interns will also be invited to participate in meetings and trainings of the agency’s partners under the Sofia IS initiative.

Students from grades 10, 11 and 12 can apply for the summer internships. Students must send a motivation letter in which they present their interests by indicating their name, class, telephone number and contact email. Motivation letters must be sent by May 30 to the email [email protected]. We hope that more students of Zlatarski International School will join the initiative.
