Preparation for Medicine in the UK

More and more students are interested in the opportunity to study Medicine abroad. This highly attractive university programme requires a specialized preparation in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and/or Mathematics. Zlatarski International School allows its students taking the international programmes (International Baccalaureate/A Levels) to study these subjects and thus to prepare for Medicine in the United Kingdom, the USA and Germany.

The curriculum is taught entirely in English and a large proportion of the practical assignments take place in the school laboratory, which is especially equipped according to international programme standards. The making is done by external examiners, which ensures the objective results in the exams. The intensive programme in grades 11 and 12 in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and/or Mathematics prepares students according to international standards.

The established university applications centre for the UK at Zlatarski School (UCAS) prepares students for the requirements of different universities, and great emphasis is placed on the preparation of the motivation application essay, as well as the required admissions tests for entry into medicine.
