History through our Students’ Family Archives: A History through our Students’ Family Archives: A Unique Project! Our students researched their family archives and albums, creating projects in History and Geography related to the ancestral memory of their families. Our students uncovered extraordinary stories that turned lessons into a personal experience. A colourful palette of natural sights, historical events and personal and family memories were shared at School. The builders of modern Bulgaria and the heroes of the most glorious battles in the 20th century were ‘guests’ at School through the stories of our students. The complex essence of geography, on the border between humanities and sciences, was evident. During Humanities Week we hosted a Book Fair 📚 During Humanities Week we hosted a Book Fair 📚 📕 📖 at Zlatarski International School. Following the initiative of our students in Grade 12 and Grade 11, part of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, the Book Fair featured hundreds of books, catering to all ages and interests. From graphic novels, non-fiction titles, and popular series to thrilling teen-fiction novels and classics, there was something for everyone. Proceeds from the fair will go towards a charity that works for reducing illiteracy in children in Bulgaria while some books will become part of our school library, ensuring that our students continue to have access to diverse and exciting reading materials. A big thank you to all the student organizers, students from across the school, parents and teachers for making this event a success. В седмицата на хуманитарните науки в Международна гимназия Златарски ученици от различни класове, заедно със свои учители, посетиха концерт-спектакъл ‘Приказка за виенския валс’ в Музикалния театър с музика на Щраус, Лехар, Калман, Целер и Хачатурян. Балет “Арабеск” украси сцената с неповторима хореография и костюми. Много блясък и хармония изпълниха залата, а ние, ученици и учители, останахме възхитени от видяното и чутото. This week at Zlatarski International School of Sof This week at Zlatarski International School of Sofia we had the pleasure of welcoming the Regional Head for Europe from Cambridge International Education. The visit included meetings with the School’s leadership and teachers, meetings with students of different age groups, visits to the classrooms, the science laboratory, the library, the computer center, the sport hall and the school grounds. Our guest was impressed by the organization of the educational process, the classes, the qualifications of the teachers and the achievements of our students. During the visit, students from grades 5-12 took part in lessons in various subjects from the international programs. Mr. Nuttall met with our teachers and students from different classes, who shared their successes, academic and professional plans. Днес в Международна гимназия Златарски посрещнахме сър Тим Ланкастър, виден икономист и професор в Оксфордския университет, който изнесе вдъхновяваща лекция пред учениците ни от 11. и 12. клас. Лекцията беше посветена на финансовата политика на британския премиер Маргарет Тачър като разгледа амбициите и резултатите от реформите, въведени през 80-те години и тяхното значение в контекста на съвременната икономика. Базирана на наскоро издадената му книга по темата, лекцията на сър Тим Ланкастър предложи уникален поглед върху този важен период в британската икономическа история.
